Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the Department of Plant Sciences:

My research interest is in agricultural biotechnology public research policy and related intellectual property issues. I am also interested in open-source biology solutions for the development of international humanitarian crops and fair trade practices.

I am a development officer for the UT Institute of Agriculture, where I oversee the Office of External Relations.  M y areas of responsibility include biotechnology, Entomology and Plant Pathology, turfgrass science, the UT Gardens, and Family and Consumer Sciences. When I'm not at work or school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, riding my horse, traveling, golf, writing, drawing, hiking and just about any activity you can do outdoors.
