Departmental history Following the departmental reorganization in 2001, our undergraduate programs integrated the curriculum of the former Department of Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design and the plant sciences curriculum of the former Department of Plant and Soil Sciences. We maintain a strong core of horticultural programs, with concentrations in landscape design, turfgrass management, public horticulture, business management, and horticulture & agronomy.
