Turfgrass Science & Management Concentration                                                                                     Back to Turf Concentration The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) administers the Certification for Golf Course Superintendents (CGCS). The Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) administers the Certification for Sports Turf Managers (CSFM). Each is a national certification program. Graduating from a 4-year program in turfgrass science and management like ours gives the initial certification credits. Also required for certification is workng for some years in the field after graduation.
