We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Brandon Smith joined the department on August 1, 2006. Dr. Smith will assume a 100% research appointment in organic and alternative production of specialty crops. Dr. Smith received his Ph.D. degree in Horticulture from Cornell University. He completed his M.S degree in Plant Biology and B.S. in Horticulture & Agronomy at the University of New Hampshire.
