MSc. Horticulture, Allahabad Agriculture Institute, Allahabad, UP, India.
Research Interests:
My PhD project involves overcoming recalcitrance of switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L ) lignocellulosic biomass for biofuel production by understanding plant cell-wall chemical and physical structures and modifying plants through genetic manipulations. Currently I am working on increasing the transformation efficiency in Switchgrass tissue culture.
My Hobbies include growing carnivorous plants, bonsai, Bettas (Betta splendens ) and computer programming.
I was born in Nagercoil (southern tip of India) and moved to Tirunelveli, TamilNadu in India.
