Research Overview: Project leader for the soybean breeding and genetics program. Applied research and development towards released germplasm lines and new cultivars with enhanced productivity, disease resistance, herbicide tolerance, and tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses. Target the development of lines with added value from improved protein composition and quality and modified fatty acid composition. Cooperate with other investigators on key projects. Mentor graduate students and teach courses on plant breeding and genetics.
