Education:
B.S., Crop Science, Korea University, Seoul, Korea
M.S., Plant Sciences, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Currently pursuing a PhD degree in the department of Plant Sciences:
My project involves transgene biocontainment of transgenic plants. Integrated transgenes in transgenic plants could be excised by site-specific recombinase and/or zinc-finger nuclease system with corresponding binding sites to suppress unwanted transgene dispersal through pollen.
My hobbies include biking, hiking, and sometimes hibernating during the weekend. I was a party animal, but not anymore. My wife is watching me!!!
