David S Vandergriff, Extension Agent
David earned a masters of science degree in our legacy department, Ornamental Horticultural & Landscaope Design. David is a Certified Professional Horticulturist and a Certified Arborist, who took a position as Extension agent in Knox County. His specialties are Horticulture and Urban Forestry.
 
Jeremy Stevens, Wholesale Nurseryman
Jeremy graduated in 1996 with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design, and went to work for a wholesale nursery in Oregon, Fairdale Nursery (wholesale nursery) in Wilsonville, OR. Their nurseries supply plant material to retail garden centers, wholesale growers and landscape businesses throughout the United States and Canada
 
Gwynne Evans, High School Agricultural Teacher
Gwynne received the M.S. with a horticultural crop focus, working with Dr. Dennis Deyton. His thesis involved evaluation of peach tree planting densities and training systems on tree growth, yield and light distribu-tion. He returned to the Middle Tenn. Experiment Station and worked as a research associate, then as a nursery supervisor at Raintree Nursery, and now teaches Agriculture at Spring Hill High School.

Aaron Lancaster, County Extension Agent
Aaron received an M.S. degree with a plant physiology/plant protection focus, working with Dr. Dennis Deyton on use of soybean oil formulations to manage insects, mites and powdery mildew on ornamentals. She took a position as Consumer Horticulture agent for Mecklenburg County, NC (city of Charlotte), where she teaches & coordinates the Master Gardener program, answers homeowner horticulture questions, teaches horticulture programs, and monitors pest problems for the community gardens in the county.

Keith received an M.S. degree in the legacy department of Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design, working with Dr. Don Williams. Keith was hired by the College of  Agriculture & Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension service as extension agent for in Floyd County.

Kevin McConnell, County Extension Agent
Kevin McConnell graduated in May 2004 with a bachelor's degree in the area of vegetable and fruit horticulture. He took a position as a county extension agent in Cocke county, TN.
