We’re very pleased to announce that Dr. Brandon Horvath joined our faculty May 1, 2009, in the new turf position: 75% teaching and 25% research. As a turf pathologist, Brandon is an exceptionally good fit for our programs.  He and the turf team are strategizing about the courses he will develop, and the ideas and prospects there are exciting.  His research interests include the epidemiology of turfgrass pathogens and development of strategies based upon epidemiological research to manage turfgrass diseases.
