Alumni Page (coming soon!) The Department of Plant Sciences (PS) at the University of Tennessee has been in existence under that name since July 1, 2003. It is composed of the students, faculty and staff from the former Department of Ornamental Horticulture & Landscape Design (OHLD) and the plant sciences side of the former Department of Plant & Soil Sciences (PSS). For two years after the departmental merger in 2001, the interim department name was Department of Plant Sciences & Landscape Systems (PSLS). Confusing?! Perhaps, yet we think we are now done with reconfigurations and name changes for awhile, and we are happy to be part of a dynamic and thriving Department of Plant Sciences, which maintains strong programs in the former OHLD and plant-related PSS areas. As a service to our former students, we are developing this directory to give contact and other information regarding our graduates in the four departments: PS, PSLS, PSS, OHLD.
