Storyboard assignment
At the start of developing your web site, it's a good idea to plan the pages and sections of the site. Some developers do this in outline form, others use a flowchart or "storyboard" approach.
Assignment = putting down your plan on paper or on a web page and submitting to the instructor by March 1 (paper format into the Auge' mailbox in PSB 252, digital format posted on your UNIX web site).
Your storyboard may consist of a number of boxes, each box representing one web document. Show hotlinks within your site by connecting boxes with lines (and arrows to show which page links to which).
You may submit a packet of paper pages, each one representing one web document.
Or you may submit one large piece of paper with all the boxes (documents) and links. A large piece of kraft paper might work well for this (e.g 2x3 ft piece -- they'll cut you a piece off a large roll at the UT Bookstore for a buck or 2).
If you create your flowchart in digital format for posting on your web site, you might create the boxes and text in Photoshop and save as a *.gif file.
